The Australian Museum, Sydney, Australia, has commenced its annual fashion competition; Fashion Less Waste design competition to encourage a more sustainable fashion industry, to help fashion a less wasteful world. In 2012 the theme will be Deep Oceans, in connection to the upcoming exhibition on this theme, due to open in June 2012.
There will be two categories: Secondary School (Years 7 to 12) and Open. Students entering in the Secondary School category can develop an entry at school, in a class or lunch time activity, or independently, at home.
Entrants can gain cash prizes and publicity.

The parade is a special feature of Learning Services' annual Teachers' Preview Night.
