Cooking soup or broth for long periods, drop in some clean eggs to hard boil them. Or you can use a steamer adapter for your pot and cook fish, veggies or reheat leftovers.

You can also drop in a basket or other straining type implement and cook pasta, dumplings, veggies or meats. It will very likely not affect the flavor of your broth/soup at all, or maybe it could enhance it, if you choose.
