|General - Eco Studio|
Our purpose at Ecobites, is to create a community where Eco conscious minded people can visit, interact and share their interest in natural lifestyles. We have a passion for the environment and encourage healthy lifestyles - green, Eco-friendly and organic living. Ecobites is concerned with non-polluted living and growing, the back-to-the-earth movement, surviving in the city, the bush, food and diet and the inner changes which follow when you are in tune with Nature. Ecobites is updated daily and we encourage ecobiters to join our active forum, Eco community and contribute articles and take a bite out of global warming. Don't be overwhelmed by all the material on this site - take it a little bite at a time - baby Ecobites. Green cheers, Lyn.
Lynette Stein - CEO
Lyn grew up with the red desert sands between her toes in outback Australia and was most fortunate in having a German Grandmother who instilled "Joie de Vivre", and a love for nature and natural cooking.
After a successful sporting career in athletics, winning many titles including national sprints, Lyn attended university to study nutrition. It was during this period, Lyn developed a passion for marathon running.
Later, Lyn escaped for long periods to travel the world and has experienced first hand, different cultures and lifestyles.
It was after a successful career in senior management with a large international corporation that Lyn decided it was time to settle in to a less stressful environment to pursue her lifelong passion.
Lyn's main responsibilities at Ecobites is the day-to-day management, the editorial side of things and future development. Being slightly obsessive about all things healthy, Lyn still manages to keep her finger in all areas of the magazine and its growing community.

Thierry was Ecobites inspiration to create the Ecokids category. Realising that there is more to children's lives than just buying plastic toys and feeding them packaged and/or processed foods, we needed an Ecokids category to make it fun for kids to live a sustainable lifestyle.
Thierry is a naturally gifted child, who enjoys nothing more than growing his own vegetables and flowers, picking home grown fruit, reading countless books and exploring. According to Oakes and Lipton (academic experts), “exploration, discovery and play are the work of the child scientists.” These abilities can come only when they develop the essential skills of imagination and exploration.
